20^th ANNUAL ASTRID AWARDS ANNOUNCED

TAKES BEST OF SHOW

NEW YORK, NY – May 20, 2010 – Grand Award Winners in 15 design categories were announced today for the 20th Anniversary ASTRID Awards competition, honoring excellence and innovation in design. This year’s BEST OF SHOW was captured by Red Indians Publishing (Reutlingen, GERMANY), on behalf of their client DAIMLER AG/ SMART (Stuttgart, GERMANY).

The custom publication titles OYM Open Your Mind is a lifestyle publication for automobile enthusiasts. The judges praised the innovative approach as "Very Cool!" and "Beautiful piece. Design is awesome." The work garnered perfect 10 scores from all the judges during the Preliminary Rounds and enthusiastic consensus during the Final Round that Open Your Mind deserves to be Best of Show.

An ASTRID Award means that the winner delivers top quality work. Judging was carried out by leading designers, art directors, and graphic artists from Canada, Europe, Hong Kong and all across the United States.
