21^st ANNIVERSARY QUESTAR FESTIVAL

TAKES BEST OF SHOW

NEW YORK, NY – June 22, 2012 - The grand winners of the 21^st annual QUESTAR Competition for excellence in Corporate Videos were announced today in New York City and represent the highest creative standards in the industry.

            HOFFMANN UND CAMPE Corporate Publishing, (Hamburg, GERMANY), was honored with the BEST OF SHOW trophy for their self-promotional DVD. The imaginative film shows the company's entire portfolio. The camera looks over a user's shoulder as he turns pages, clicks, swipes, and surfs. The judges praised the 2 minute piece as "well produced with nice integration of different segments."  "Very effective video, direct, and gets its message across." "Creative and cleverly done. Presents a great, positive image of the company."

            The top 3% percent of entries captured a grand QUESTAR Award.  In their respective categories, the 2012 Grand Award winners were:

The judges awarded Gold and Silver Awards to the top 30% scoring entries.  The awards were presented to production houses, corpora­tions, and associations from around the world.

In its 21^st year, the QUESTAR Awards had nearly 100 companies competing from 8 countries including Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, People's Republic of China, Russia and the United States.

Judges represented creative directors, directors of broadcast services, producers, directors, marketing coordinators, production managers, public relations managers, and presidents of production houses, agencies, and corporations.

The QUESTAR Award symbolizes the creative energy that is transformed by the craft, innovation, and skill into the excellence of the video medium.  It is the creativity, originality, and talent of the individuals involved to whom the awards festival is dedicated.
