GRAND AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR

18th ANNUAL QUESTAR FESTIVAL

- CHEIL INDUSTRIES -

TAKES BEST OF SHOW

NEW YORK, NY – November 5, 2007 – The grand winners of the 18th annual QUESTAR Awards for excellence in corporate DVDs and Videos were announced today. The international festival honors the highest creative standards in the industry.

 

INCA Film & Communications, on behalf of their client, CHEIL INDUSTRIES, Seoul, KOREA has been awarded the BEST OF SHOW for their corporate identity DVD, “Materials”.  The five minute film shows the importance of materials, emphasizing CHEIL INDUSTRIES’ ability and capability.  Computer graphics were used to express the progress of equipment, the materials we can’t see, and the world of CHEIL’S materials in the future.  The judges ranked the DVD with near perfect straight “10’s.” 

 

The Top 5 percent of entries received a grand QUESTAR Award.  In their respective categories, the 2007 Grand winners were:

The judges awarded Gold, Silver Bronze and Honors Awards to the top 30% scoring entries.  The awards were presented to production houses, corporations, and associations from around the world.

 

In its eighteenth year, the QUESTAR Awards had over 115 entries received from 10 countries including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Scotland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

 

Judges represented creative directors, directors of broadcast services, producers, directors, marketing coordinators, production managers, public relations managers, and presidents of production houses, agencies, and corporations.

 

The QUESTAR Award symbolizes the creative energy that is transformed by the craft, innovation, and skill into the excellence of the video medium.  It is the creativity, originality, and talent of the individuals involved to whom the awards festival is dedicated.
